About ERIC
Eric’s first significant entrepreneurial venture was when he co-founded the ITR Group, a mobile computing specialist in England. He started the business in his living-room with very little capital and parlayed the company into an industry leader with multiple offices around the UK and clients all over the world.
Eric sold his interest in the ITR Group and retired from the IT Sector in 2006. For the next three years Eric travelled around the world as a keynote speaker and business consultant.
In early 2009 Eric visited former Lucasfilm spinoff, Kerner Optical, as a consultant and, after a few months working with the team, decided to purchase a majority share in the company.
Eric is now the CEO of Kerner Group and is based in Marin county, California.
Eric is also an avid wildlife photographer and undertakes, with his partner Elise, social projects around the world including his once-a-year See You at The Top program that takes an intimate group of friends and clients to the top of the world’s tallest free-standing mountain, Kilimanjaro. He and the team then work to establish community schools in Tanzania as a way of leaving behind what Eric calls ‘philanthropic footprints.’
